Often we spend more time at our office than we do in our own homes. It’s a priority to Kim Mixon for the Team to thrive in a workspace which is positive, beautiful, organized and reflective of the Kim Mixon Real Estate Team brand & style. Kim spent time selecting a design scheme to include artwork which is vibrant & happy. No detail was overlooked in this unique & very #KimMixonStyle office space at 103 12th Street in Uptown Columbus.
“It was so much fun coming up with a design that makes us all smile. Starla Michelle Halfmann is one of my favorite artists & the majority of the artwork I selected is from her collection. I even have an original painting which she dedicated to my mother who passed away in June of 2018. Caylinda is a stunning butterfly which hangs in my personal office and can be seen from the sidewalk as people pass by daily. The other unexpected surprise (inspired by my mom as well) is our new collection of live plants! I took my first ever houseplant from my mom’s home when she passed and have successfully kept it alive which inspired me to bring more beautiful live plants into our office as well. The ladies at Bloomers on 13th Street in Midtown have been wonderful in helping me select just the right plants to accent our space and give a life to the office that only living plants can do. Design is ever-evolving so as we grow and change, our workspace will as well, but having a ‘work home’ that feels good helps the entire team to be our best. Our newly designed office is a place for us to create, innovate & succeed together!” ~Kim Mixon
